Illustrating an article entitled "American Scientists Visit Poland," the image / text was authored by Dr. Bronislaw Zawadzki, Assistant Professor of Physiology at the Medical School of Warsaw University. The trip was sponsored by UNRRA and arranged by the Unitarian Service Committee, and involved 6 American professors of medicine. Dr. Zawadzki was subsequently awarded a fellowship of the Ella Lyman Cabot Trust Fund in Boston and went to the Department of Neurology at Columbia University.
